The Seed Alliance is a collaboration between three of the five Regional Internet Registries – covering Africa, Latin America and the Asia-Pacific – to support internet innovation across developing countries in their regions.
The alliance provides funding, capacity building and networking to scale up programmes that use internet technologies to bring real change to the lives of people, often in remote and isolated areas.
The site serves as a reporting tool and allows each of the three regions to provide data and add programmes as they occur. Programmes and applications are automatically collated by year and visualised on a world map, while overall regional performance is captured from the data and displayed for each year.
The site also includes extensive reporting, methodology and compliance information, along with learning facilities.
