‘Reminiscence’ commemorated the centenary of the birth of iconic Queensland poet and conservationist Judith Wright.
Held (appropriately) at the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts in December 2015 and January 2016, the exhibition featured works created specifically for the centenary by ceramicist Frances Smith and multidisciplinary artist Fiona Rafferty.
The catalogue included detailed synopses of a number of the works as well as essays by Susan Ostling, Senior Lecturer at Griffith University, and Wright’s daughter, Meredith McKinney, along with an introduction by Tim Winton.
